Simplify (2c)(11c).

my answer is telling me it should be 22c. I think it is 22c(squared). We are not combining like terms, but multiplying each to the 1st power. when you multiply you add the exponents. I am confused.

it is 22c^2

think of it as (2c^1)(11c^1)
