Grazing livestock is the practice of letting sheep, cattle, and pigs out on grasslands and letting them eat the grasses. If the fields are too crowded with animals, then the plants are killed by overgrazing -- and there's nothing left.
Herbicides are chemicals that kill unwanted plants (weeds). Often these herbicides get into nearby streams and pollute the ground water.
