How do fossils help in determining the relative age of strata? Are the three different localities around the same relative age?

What three localities? Is this question associated with a field trip or lab you recently took?

You didn't answer Dr. WLS's question. What three localities?

Review Figure 3.6 on p. 68 of the text. How do fossils help in determining the relative age of strata? Are the three different localities around the same relative age? Explain your response.
this is what i said I am sure there is more to it
The deeper the layer, the older the objects that are found in the layer will be. Strata are the layers of the earth. These layers would be "read" from bottom to top or oldest to most recent.

We do not have your text -- so we had no idea what you were talking about.
You have a good start on the answer. But you still haven't answered whether these localities are the same relative age.

does it sound ok what i have so far?

What you have written sounds ok. Now to know if the localities are the same, you compare the types of fossils in the three locations. The same fossils in the same strata would mean the age is the same.
