factor the following equation:
6x^2 - 21x - 9

i've tried to factor it and can only get answers for 6x^2 - 21x + 9!

Start by dividing by 3.
6x^2 - 21x + 9 = 3(2x^2 -7x +3)
= 3(2x-1)(x-3)
