As the boys continue their discussions on choosing the two kings, tension builds between Alban and Clivent due to their separation. Alban expresses his anger towards Clivent being placed in Vico's group, believing that his cousin should be in the same team as him. Despite Alban's protests, the boys laugh at his frustration, mocking him as a "Smart Alec".
To resolve the situation, Vico proposes an idea to tie both Alban and Clivent to the same tree. If they manage to free themselves within an hour or two, they can join the same team. Clement initially disagrees with Vico's suggestion, but his opinion is dismissed by Airwin, Alban's older brother.
Reluctantly, Clement grabs Alban's arm and prevents him from running away. The boys proceed to tie Alban and Clivent together to a nearby tree. Initially, Alban kicks and screams in protest, desperately trying to free himself. However, after some time, Alban's defiance turns into amusement, and he begins to laugh. Mockingly, he questions whether this is how Vico makes decisions.
Alban playfully moves his foot, testing the strength of the restraints, and giggles mischievously, seemingly enjoying the absurdity of the situation.

They pick Clement who is 17 to beleader of all the boys 14 and down, and they pick 17 year old Vico to be the leader of the 15 and up . with Albans smart remarks and every on all ways calling him smart Smart Alec. Well a long side the his cousin Clivent is always laughing, at him. But these two cousins are like best friends. So the elder boy purposely split them up, Alban hate this and says that Clivent is only 14 so he should not be in Vicos group but no one listens he stops his foot and shouts angrily, but most of the boy just laugh at 14 year old Alban. Vico has an idea he says that the can tie both Alban and Clivent to the same tree if they can get out in 1 hour or 2 they can be on the same team Clement refuses but is brushed off by Airwin Albans 15 year old brother. Alban tried to run a way but Clement grabs his arm and forces him to stay there. So the boys tie Alban and Clivent to the same tree. At first Alban screams and kicks his legs till he no longer CAn. The Alban burst out laughing and says,is this how Vico Decides things then. He moves his foot a little and giggles.
