Hi, can you tell me what is needed to ionise the O^6+ ion further in order to turn it into an O^7+ ion ?

O is 1s2 2s2 2p4 = 8
To make O^+6, we remove the 2s2 and 2p4 which just leaves the 1s2 hanging on. So remove one of the 1s2 to make O^+7.
