Question
How come it seems the closer my gf and I get the less open we are. When we first started we always talked about how we were feeling and we said cheesy things to and about each other and i loved that. But we don't do that anymore, we just talk about our day really and look up questions to ask each other. There isn't any actual real conversation anymore.

It's not uncommon for the initial excitement and infatuation stage of a relationship to evolve into a more comfortable and settled phase. As couples become more familiar with each other, they may feel less need for constant validation or expressing their emotions explicitly.
However, if you miss the deeper connections and open conversations, it's important to communicate this to your girlfriend. Share your feelings and express your desire to reconnect on a more emotional level. It's possible that she may have also noticed the change and is open to rekindling those intimate conversations.
Remember that relationships require ongoing effort, communication, and understanding. Both partners should be willing to put in the work to maintain a strong and fulfilling connection. It might be helpful to initiate meaningful conversations or plan activities that encourage deeper discussions and emotional sharing.
