When it's winter in the northern hemisphere, it's summer in the southern hemisphere. So, if it's April in the northern hemisphere, is it still April in the southern hemisphere?

Yes, it's still April in the Southern Hemisphere. However the seasons are reversed. April is fall in the Southern Hemisphere. Christmas in Australia is in the summer there.
