What are some reasons people decide to join the military? Besides not having enough money to go to college and being able to have a job.

The military is an excellent place to get an education. In addition, many young people join the military because they don't know what they want to do "when they grow up," but know they don't want to aimlessly attend college classes without having some some goals in mind. Some feel the patriotic call of helping their country.
