how did the environment (political, social, and physical) affect the religion of the 13 colonies?

That's such a broad question, that it's difficult to answer. First, the colonies were in existence for close to 150 years before they became the United States. The environment changed in those years. You're also talking various religious groups -- Quaker, Calvinistic, Episcopal, and Roman Catholic, among others. Each colony had a different political, social, and physical environment.

Please check your book to see if its author has summarized the effects of the environment on religion in the colonies.

There were social, political, and economic causes of the American Revolution people from Africa to the thirteen colonies.

During the development of the 13 colonies pressure from England had a major effect of the "environment." Taxation and other things caused the temper of the colonies to "heat up." Division among the colonies (about whether or not to break away from England) didn't make the situation any better.
