Asked by Jake
Jana looked at her wristwatch as her family drove from syracuse to albany. After fifteen minutes, she checked the odometer on the dashboard to see how many miles they have traveled. What was she measuring?
A-Speed
B-Motion
C-Velocity
D-friction
Heres what I can't figure out, it can't be friction, nothing to do with traveled miles. It might be speed due to the fact that if MPH is higher more miles are given.....Not to sure about velocity and motion, i know velocity is the rate of motion but i still don't really get it.

Velocity is a vector quantity; i.e., it has both a speed AND a direction. Here is a site that talks about that.
