CF probably stands for conversion factor. It is not a commonly used abbreviation.
You are converting micrometers (10^-6 m) to Megameters (10^6 m)
You would do the conversion by multiplying
2.750 um by 10^-12 Mm/um
10^-12 Mm/um is the "CF"
2,750um to Mm
CF=10^12 2,750um=2,750*10^-12
