Take number 12 and subtract summ of first numbers
2 * 6 = 4
become
12 - ( 2 + 6 ) = 12 - 8 = 4
4 * 1 = 7
become
12 - ( 4 + 1 ) = 12 - 5 = 7
8 * 3 = 1
become
12 - ( 8 + 3 ) = 12 - 11 = 1
So
5 * 5 = x
become
12 - ( 5 + 5 ) = 12 - 10 = 2
x = 2
5 * 5 = 2
2 * 6 = 4
become
12 - ( 2 + 6 ) = 12 - 8 = 4
4 * 1 = 7
become
12 - ( 4 + 1 ) = 12 - 5 = 7
8 * 3 = 1
become
12 - ( 8 + 3 ) = 12 - 11 = 1
So
5 * 5 = x
become
12 - ( 5 + 5 ) = 12 - 10 = 2
x = 2
5 * 5 = 2
