becomes
(2x5)/(3x5)+ (3x3)/(5x3)
=10/15+9/15
now add the numerators
19/15
5/6 - 3/4
=10/12-9/12
=1/12
with multiplication just multiply both top and bottom
3/5 x 2/5 = 6/25
With division
turn the second fraction upside down and then multiply
1/2 divide 5/8
=1/2 x 8/5
=8/10
