(2√3+2)/(2√3-2)
First, off I'd factor out a 2 in top and bottom, giving
2(√3+1) / 2(√3-1) = (√3+1)/(√3-1)
Now rationalize the denominator. Multiply top and bottom by √3+1.
(√3+1)/(√3-1) * (√3+1)/(√3+1)
= (√3+1)^2 / (3-1)
= (3 + 2√3 + 1)/2
= 2+√3
