for the x-intercept let y = 0
x^3 + 7x^2 + 10x = 0
x(x^2 + 7x + 10) = 0
x(x+2)(x+5) = 0
so x = 0, -2, -5
(your x-intercepts)
for the y-intercept, let x = 0
then of course y=0
so 3 x-intercepts, one y-intercept
x^3 + 7x^2 + 10x = 0
x(x^2 + 7x + 10) = 0
x(x+2)(x+5) = 0
so x = 0, -2, -5
(your x-intercepts)
for the y-intercept, let x = 0
then of course y=0
so 3 x-intercepts, one y-intercept
