1.) Approximate 38 246 to the nearest hundred
2.) A farm was divided into 3 sections: ⅓ for growing beans, ⅙ for groundnut and the other section for rice. What fraction of the farm was used for rice?

2) 1/3 + 1/6 = 2/6 + 1/6 = 3/6 = 1/2 for beans and rice
That leaves 1/2 for rice
