here's what i got for that question:
question:compare the colonial empires of Spain, France and England in terms of their settlements, economic structure and political control.
answer: The Spanish Empire was one of the largest empires in world history.
----
Giovanni da Verrazano was an Italian who sailed for the French in 1523-1524 in search for the Northwest Passage. He explored the coast of North America form what is now North Carolina to Newfoundland. On the basis of his voyage, the French king claimed a region called New France for his nation. Samuel de Champlain founded the first successful French colony in North America in 1806. he also mapped the Atlantic shores as far as Massachusetts and traveled inland to the lakes now known as Lake Huron and Lake Champlain. The French did not need the Northwest Passage to grow rich from their exploits in New France because they discovered that a local product, fur, could be sold for great gain in Europe. The fur trade determined the shape of New France.

You haven't answered the question. Please search your book and the 6 websites I posted for information about their settlements, economic structure and political control in all of these settlements.

Most of what you wrote is irrelevant. Describe the settlements of the French colonies. How did they make a living or make money for France? Did the colonists have any political control -- or was that all in the hands of the French government?
