there are several handy long division calculators online.
(x^2 - 4x - 5) / (2x^2 - 3x - 65) = 1/2 - (5/2 (x-11)) / (2x^2 - 3x - 65)
(x^2 - 4x - 5) / (2x^2 - 3x - 65) = 1/2 - (5/2 (x-11)) / (2x^2 - 3x - 65)
