Define natural selection In your own words.

1 answer

Natural selection is a process through which certain traits and characteristics become more or less common in a population based on their ability to help individuals reproduce and survive in their environment. Essentially, organisms with advantageous traits will be more likely to survive and pass on those traits to their offspring, while organisms with less advantageous traits will be less likely to survive and reproduce. Over time, this process can lead to the evolution of new species or changes in existing species.
