Independent or Dependent
A bean is randomly selected from a bag containing red beans and white beans and eaten. Then another random selection is made from the remaining beans.

The selections are dependent because the outcome of the first selection affects the probability of the second selection. If a red bean is selected and eaten first, there will be a lower probability of selecting another red bean on the second selection because there are fewer red beans left in the bag.
