A cone is made from a sector of a circle of radius 14cm and 90degree what is the area of the curved surface of the cone to the nearest whole number

so the radius of the base of the cone is 90/360 * 14 = 7/2 cm
and the slant height is 14 cm
That makes the lateral area a = πrs = 49π cm^2
