How do I do this? Graph the line containing the given pair of the points and find the slope. (2,4), (-6,-4).

slope = m = (-4-4)/(-6-2) = -8/-8 = 1
y = m x + b
y = 1 x + b
4 = 2 + b
b = 2
so

y = x + 2 is our line

check if it goes through second point
-4 = -6 + 2 yes, check
