f(x)= 7-5x^4
How would find the the absolute max and the x value?
I think you have to take the derivative which is
-20x^3
but then I am lost??

set it to zero.
f(x)=0=-20x^3 which means max occurs at zero. THe absolute max must then be
f(0)=7-0
