what is the weight of a 10g object?

this is my answer:
W = m.a
W = 0,01(9.8)
W = 0,098 kg

i divided the 10g by 1000 to conver it into kg.

is this answer correct?

Hmmmm.
Weight (In newtons)= mass(in kg)*g (in Nt/kg)
Weight= .01kg * 9.8N/kg
Weight= 0.098Newtons
