Perpetua has 1,800/= to buy pencils. There are 2 types which prices differ by 40/=. If she boys the cheaper type sho will get 15 more pencils than if she buys the expensive type. What are the prices of the pencils?​

AAAaannndd the bot gets it wrong yet again!

If the cheaper costs p, then
1800/p = 1800/(p+40) + 15
p = 52.11
check:
1800/52.11 = 34.54
1800/92.11 = 19.54
they differ by 15, but I suspect a typo because the solution is not an integer.

The cheaper pencils cost 80/= and the expensive pencils cost 120/=.
