Perpetua has 1,800/= to buy pencils. There are 2 types which prices differ by 40/=. If she boys the cheaper type sho will get 15 more pencils than if she buys the expensive type. What are the prices of the pencils?

If the cheaper costs p, then
1800/p = 1800/(p+40) + 15
p = 52.11
check:
1800/52.11 = 34.54
1800/92.11 = 19.54
they differ by 15, but I suspect a typo because the solution is not an integer.
