Flipbook Instructions:
1. Start with a blank sheet of paper. Draw a title, your name, and class period at the top of the page.
2. Draw the Sun, Earth, and Moon in the space-view perspective. Shade the moon correctly to represent the New Moon phase. Label the page “Day 0: New Moon”.
3. Flip the page over and draw the Moon in the earth-view perspective. Label the page “Day 0: New Moon”.
4. Flip the page back over and draw the Sun, Earth, and Moon in the space-view perspective. Shade the moon correctly to represent the Waxing Crescent phase. Label the page “Day 2: Waxing Crescent”.
5. Flip the page over and draw the Moon in the earth-view perspective. Label the page “Day 2: Waxing Crescent”.
6. Continue this process until you have completed the entire 29 day lunar cycle.
7. Once you have completed the flipbook, review it to make sure it is neat, creative, complete, and accurate.
