So you already know there's going to be 5 1/4 in the fraction because there's one in one and a half so just add 5 1/2 + 5 1/2 / 2
(5 1/2 +{5 1/2 divided by 2)
In other words divide 5 and 1/2 by 2 and add 5 and 1/2 I'm sorry for repeating myself it's just easier for me to understand myself when I put it different ways
