Simplify the rational expression. State any restrictions on the variable.

6c^2+9c
-------
3c

divide 3c into each of the numerator terms.

2c + 3

Another way: Factor the numerator to get

3c(2c + 3)

now you have

3c(2c + 3)/3c= 2c+3

Are there any restrictions on the variable?

no there are not any restrictions on a veraiable

okay thanks
