Algebra - Substitution Question?

A+B+C=1
A+C= -1/2
A-B+C= -7

What are the values of A, B, and C?

Subtract the third equation from the second and you get
B = 6 1/2
Subtract the second from the first and you get B = 3/2

Both cannot be true, so there is no solution.
