molarity = M = # moles/L of solution or M = moles/L.
How many moles in 9.8 g H2SO4.
moles = g/molar mass and molar mass H2SO4 = 98 so moles H2SO4 = 9.8/98 = 0.1
That is in 500 mL or 0.500 L so M = moles/L = 0.1 mol/0.500 L = 0.2 M
