John spent 30 minutes developing an estimate for a job. The job itself took 2 hours 45 minutes to complete. What is the ratio of the time spent on the job estimate to the total time spent (including the time spent calculating the estimate) on the job?

2 hr 45 min = 165 min
so the ratio is
30/(30+165) = 30/195 = 2/13
so the ratio is
30/(30+165) = 30/195 = 2/13
