Calculate the number of moles of calcium chloride(CACL2), that can be obtained from 25kg of limestone(CACO3) in the presence of excess HCL. (ca=40, c=12, O=16, H=1, cl=35.5)

CaCO3 + 2HCl ==> CaCl2 + H2O + CO2
moles CaCO3 = grams/molar mass = 25,000/100 = 250
mols CaCl2 from that = 250 since 1 mol CaCO3 will form 1 mol CaCl2.
