Form a Hypothesis A metal
sphere is found to have a density of
5.2 g/cm3 at 25°C and a density of 5.1
g/cm3 at 50°C. Form a hypothesis to
explain this observation. How could you
test your hypothesis?

d = mass/v so if density is smaller at increased T it would be a good guess that the volume increased. You might measure the diameter of the sphere and see it if was a litte larger @ 50 C.
