I need some help checking this answer to see if its correct
The math problem is
7y=x
and
-x+3y=20

The question asked me to solve it using substitution.
and the answer I got was (-14,2)
is this answer right?

clearly, wrong, since
7*2 ≠ -14

since x = 7y,
-7y+3y = 20

From my understanding the answer -14 is wrong? in that case how would i work out the problem then?
