Asked by Kyla
In my Italy report, I'd like to explain about a form of Italian folk dancing that I have heard about. However, I do not know how to spell it. It is pronounced vi-vach-ee, and I tried googling vivace and vivacci, as well as vivaci, and I found no related results. Does anyone know what I'm referring to? Thank you!!

Vivace is a tempo marking in Italian, meaning fast, about 140 beats per minute.
So applied to dance, it is a dance with a lively step.
