Answers
If there were x fruits, then
o = 2/5 x
a = 2/3 m
now,
m+a+o = x
m + 2/3 m + 2/5 x = x
5/3 m = 3/5 x
m/x = 9/25 = 36%
o = 2/5 x
a = 2/3 m
now,
m+a+o = x
m + 2/3 m + 2/5 x = x
5/3 m = 3/5 x
m/x = 9/25 = 36%
Let the number of mangoes be m
Number of apples= 2/3m
since 40% is for oranges, then 60% is for both apples and mangoes
total no of apples and mangoes= m+2/3m=5/3m
60%=5/3m
100%=??
=100/60×5/3m
=25/9m
total fruits is 25/9m
% of mangoes= m/(25/9m)×100
=1/(25/9)×100
=1×9/25×100
=36%
Number of apples= 2/3m
