heat produced = 43640 kJ/kg x 40kg x (1000 J/kJ) = ? J
mass H2O = 5,000 g
specific heat H2O = 4.184 J/g*C
Substitute into the below equation and solve for delta T.
J = mass H2O x specific heat H2O x delta T
mass H2O = 5,000 g
specific heat H2O = 4.184 J/g*C
Substitute into the below equation and solve for delta T.
J = mass H2O x specific heat H2O x delta T
