assuming the usual carelessness with parentheses, I'll go with
5/(x-5) = (2+x)/(x-5)
5 = 2+x
x = 3
If, on the other hand, you meant it as written, then the normal order of operations gives.
5/x - 5 = 2 + 1 - 5
5/x = 3
x = 5/3
