A programmer estimates that debugging will take eight days, but the job is completed after only six. Find the percent of accuracy of the estimate.
1. 25%
2. 28%
3. 23%
4. 20%
i think the answer is 4. here's how I got my answer:
I put 8/10 and 6/10 and subtracted 6 from 8 which got me 2.
he was 2 off and so I multiplied the denominator by 2 and got 20 in order to make it a percentage. 20%
can anyone tell me if I got it correct?

% error in estimate = [(estimate - actual) / actual] * 100%
none of the responses seem correct
the actual time is 25% less than the estimate ... 8 - 2 = 6
... accuracies are based on the actual values ... not "guesstimates"
