Let, no. of boys in dance club be x and no. of boys in computer club be y
No. of girls in dance club = 2/5x
Total number of students in dance club = x + 2x/5 = 7x/5
6/7 of computer club students are girls
No. of boys in computer club = 1/7x (total students in computer club)
y = 1/7x (total students in computer club)
Total number of students in computer club = 7y
Total no. of students in dance club is half of that of computer club
7x/5 = 1/2 (7y)
=> y/2 = (7 * 2)/(5 * 7) = 2/5 = 2:5
No. of girls in dance club = 2/5x
=> y/2 = (7 * 2)/(5 * 7) = 2/5 = 2:5
