Calculate the work done by the effort and the effort applied when a system of 6 pulley is used to raise a load of 600n through a distance of 30m. The work done against friction is 200j.

work done on load ... 600 N * 30 m = 18000 J

total work = 18000 J + 200 J = 18200 J

effort distance = 30 m * 6 = 180 m

effort applied = total work / effort distance
