Calculate the mass of calcium carbide that is needed to produce 1003 of acetylene according to the following equation. CaC2 +2H2O C2H2 + Ca(OH)2

not sure what "1003" means, but the equation tells you that you will need just as many moles of CaC2 as you get moles of C2H2
