                Two buses left from the terminal at the same time. Bus A goes east while Bus B goes north. After two hour, how far are the two buses if Bus A is 180 km from the terminal while Bus B is 240 km from the terminal?

    If one bus goes east (to the right of the terminal) and the other to the north (above the terminal) then the terminal and the positions of the two buses form a right triangle. 
You just need to find the hypotenuse of that triangle.
d = ✓( 180² + 240² )
d = ✓90000
d = 300 km
