                Check my answer:
question: Identify one of the darker actions examined in a story or drama from this unit in what piece is the action highlighted? what intentions or emotions prompt the action? how would the story or drama change if the character involved were able to overcome the darker impulse and include a higher intention? Explain.
My answer: In "The Raven" written by Edgar Allen Poe the main character grows angry after experiencing a prolonged sadness; nevertheless, he had the ability to overcome his grief. In this literary work the focus is established towards the main character's mental health as it slowly drives him mad throughout the story. His madness is triggered by his lover, who he had lost. If the main character had been able to control their dark impulse, then perhaps they would've been able to find another way to overcome the misery created by the death of his lover.

“the main character” = singular = OK
“their” = plural = not OK
“they” = plural = not OK
How will you correct these errors?

Can you find the error here and correct it?
[Given the contrast between the directions (with many errors) and the answer (near perfect), I’d be questioning whether you actually wrote it or copied it from someone/somewhere else.]
