Hello!

I just have a general question about essay structure. I'm writing an essay, and my two body paragraphs are very long. Would it be confusing to my readers if I separated them both into two paragraphs?

I don't think so. It would just break down the paragraphs into two smaller pieces. It also depends on the topics and how you've phrased the whole thing. Also, this depends on how you want it to be. So, its really up to you
Snickers is right. If you were to separate each of them, how would you make sure you end up with FOUR topic sentences? Are you sure all other sentences in each of FOUR paragraphs would relate well with its topic sentence?

Simply splitting the paragraphs for looks isn't the way to go. Organizing a paper depending on each body paragraph's topic sentence is a must.
Ok, makes sense. Thank you both!
