Toyland factory had 2 machines, X and Y. For every 3 toy bears Machine X produced, Machine Y could produce 5 toy bears. Machine X was turned on first, and it produced 560 toy bears. Then Machine Y was turned on and both machines continued production. In the end, it was found that Machine Y produced 50 less than three-eighth the total number of toy bears produced. How many toy bears were produced in total?

x/y = 3/5
=> at the turn of machine x = 560 toys, y = 50 we produced
=> when machine y was turned & produce
Y = 3/8N - 50 where N is the total number of Toy bear produced
x = 3/5(3/8N - 50)
but
N = 3/5 (3/8N - 50) + 3/8N - 50 + 560
N = 9N/40 - 30 + 3/8N - 50 + 560
N = 3/5N + 480
2N/5 = 480
N = (480 * 5)/2
N = 1200
