7/9 divided by 42 = 1/54 in each bag
2/9 divided by 4 = 1/18 in each box
that means that
1/18 x = 1/54 x + 34
x = 918
so each bag had 918/54 = 17 apples
2/9 divided by 4 = 1/18 in each box
that means that
1/18 x = 1/54 x + 34
x = 918
so each bag had 918/54 = 17 apples
