I received $120 from my grandmother as a gift. I subsequently spent 1/2, 1/3 and 1/6. How much do I have left?

Depends on your English
If you mean each time a fraction of the original 120
then [ 1 - (1/2+1/3 + 1/6) ] 120
[ 1 - (3/6 + 2/6 + 1/6) ] 120
[ 1 - (6/6) ] 120
= 0
BUT if you mean each time then
spend 1/2
left 1/2
spend 1/3 of 1/2 = 1/6
left 1/2 - 1/6 = 2/6 = 1/3
spend 1/6 of 1/3 = 1/18
left 1/3 - 1/18 = 5/18
5/18 * 120 = 33.33
or easier
1/2 * 2/3* 5/6 = 5/18
