A bag contains several counters. Some are green, some are yellow, and some are blue. Reagan counted them and found the theoretical probability of drawing a green counter is ⅛ and the theoretical probability of drawing a yellow counter is ¼ . If the bag contains 32 counters, how many of each color must it contain?

green counter prob = 1/8
yellow counter prob = 1/4
counters = 32
each color contain A/32 = 1/8
green color
=> A = 32/8 = 4
yellow color
=> B/32 = 1/4
=> B = 32/4 = 8
yellow counter prob = 1/4
counters = 32
each color contain A/32 = 1/8
green color
=> A = 32/8 = 4
yellow color
=> B/32 = 1/4
=> B = 32/4 = 8
